Event Brief

In this webinar, we will present fundamental concepts of modern electronic warfare, focusing on each of its three pillars: electronic support (ES), electronic attack (EA) and electronic protection (EP). Example techniques and methodologies will be offered in all three areas. Numerical results and simulation examples will be used throughout to illustrate concepts.

Topics covered include:

  • Electronic Support definitions, functions and methods. Time-Difference-Of-Arrival (TDOA) will be used as an example of a specific ES technique with simulation results.
  • Electronic Attack definitions, functions and methods. Both noise and coherent EA will be used as examples of specific EA techniques with simulation results.
  • Electronic Protection definitions, functions and methods. Sidelobe Canceller (SLC) and Sidelobe Blanker (SLB) will be used as examples of specific EP techniques with simulation results.
