Event Brief

Mil- STD 810, now in its “H” revision, is the premier U.S. Standard for environmental testing of military hardware.  Its test rationale, guidance, and procedural methods have formed the foundation for many of the International Standards used round the world.  The Standard pioneered the use of a flexible engineering approach to develop and implement effective test plans.  It also provides a comprehensive set of environmental test methods roughly split between climatic and dynamic environments. This 4-day course is divided into a pair of 2-day modules to address the climatic and dynamic test methods. Students will participate in individual and group activities to learn how to interpret and effectively use the Standard.
