Event Brief

Militaries all over the world are concerned with shock and vibration in vehicles and equipments because it affects combat operations. Thus, understanding, measuring, testing and controlling shock and vibration levels are essential and significant in the defense force.

High cycle fatigue and mechanical shock remains one of the top challenges to militaries today. Therefore, designing appropriate shock and vibration controls are vital to achieve a highly effective system performance. Failures such as broken components, leads or solder connections due to poor electronic design could be avoided and militaries are able to optimise its systems performance in combat operations

Course Objective
To address these issues, the 3-day course aims to review the control methods used to reduce shock and vibration on performance system. Participants will also gain insight on the analysis and evaluation on shock and vibration as well as its measurement testing techniques. Real world case studies will be discussed intensively to ensure practicality of learning.
