This Life Cycle Costing (LCC) course includes practical worked examples and opportunities for participation in a number of workshops, and will cover all aspects of cost spend and commitment throughout the life cycle.
 
Delegates will be provided with:

  • A working knowledge of cost analysis
  • An understanding of cost modelling 
  • An understanding of cost breakdown structures
  • The ability to develop a cost breakdown structure (CSB) and how to populate the CBS.

  • Discuss the different types of Cost Analyses and the different outputs
  • Understand the meaning of LCC analysis to the different stakeholders in a project
  • To learn the concepts of committed and incurred costs
  • To understand the importance of Cost Breakdown Structures and recording modelling assumptions
  • Understand the difference between uncertainty and risk within cost analyses
  • To understand the uses of cost analysis within the design process
