In this two-part webinar (total 8 hours), we will present fundamental concepts of modeling and simulation of radar systems. The general principles apply to all radar applications, although special attention is dedicated to military applications.
Our discussions and examples will be focused on high-fidelity, physics-based (“waveform-level”) modelling in contract to lower fidelity, effects-based models. Models will encompass the radar system itself and main subsystems, associated signal and data processing, the external signal environment and atmospheric propagation effects. Simulation examples with numerical results in the Matlab® and Simulink® environments will be presented throughout to illustrate concepts.
At the end of the 8-hour webinar, students will be able to:
This webinar will benefit Head of Departments, Engineers, Program Managers, Project Engineers, Analysts, Researchers who wish to learn more about modeling and simulation of radar systems.
